For the first JIA Talk of 2022, we invite Dr. Mareki Honma, Professor at the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan and Director of the Mizusawa VLBI Observatory, to talk about "Giant Black Holes Seen through an Earth-Size Radio Telescope".

Mareki Honma

He graduated from the Department of Astronomy, Faculty of Science, University of Tokyo, and completed his doctorate at the same university. From 2015 to the present, he has been a professor at the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan (NAOJ) and the Director of the Mizusawa VLBI Observatory. He is also a professor at the Graduate University for Advanced Studies and the University of Tokyo.
